KDAS composite sealing ring (hydraulic seal)
KDAS is a 5-piece double-acting piston combination oil seal specifically designed for hydraulic systems, used for sealing hydraulic cylinders in construction machinery and heavy equipment.
1. Structural composition (5 components)
• 1 main sealing elastomer: nitrile rubber (NBR), featuring 3 sealing lips, serving as the main seal.
• 2 retaining rings: made of polyurethane (PU), resistant to extrusion and impact.
• 2 guide rings: made of polyoxymethylene (POM), serving as guides, load-bearing, and wear-resistant.
2. Performance parameters
• Working pressure: ≤40MPa (400bar)
• Temperature range: -35℃ ~ +105℃
• Operating speed: ≤0.5m/s
• Applicable medium: hydraulic oil, emulsion, mineral oil
3. Core advantages
✅ Integrated groove installation: only one groove is needed for sealing and guiding, resulting in a shorter piston and lower cost.
✅ High-pressure non-flipping: Special tooth design ensures no twisting or flipping during high-pressure reciprocating motion.
✅ Self-tightening seal: It seals by rubber pre-tightening force when there is no pressure, and the sealing force becomes stronger as the pressure increases.
• ✅ Anti-gap squeezing: The retaining ring prevents rubber from being squeezed into the gap, suitable for high pressure and heavy load applications.
